AAC Parent Group
Community Therapy Services invites you to join our group dedicated to parents of children who use or need a functional communication system. If your child uses AAC, needs AAC, or you want more information about how AAC can help your child, this group is for you! We meet the first Thursday of each month at 7PM at CTS. The purpose of the group is to provide support, education, and networking opportunities to families who utilize or may need some form of AAC.
Our next meeting is Thursday March 4th at 7PM. We will be hearing from two mothers who will describe their experience and their child’s experience using AAC. In addition we will be discussing ways to implement AAC throughout the daily environment. For more information, please contact Amy Bereiter at CTS, (630) 444-0077. If you decide to attend a meeting, please call and let us know! |
